HUGE NEWS! We are proud to announce not one but TWO shows for WAR OF AGES new album "ARISE AND CONQUER" which comes out on July 22nd EVERYWHERE! These two shows will be on August 8th and 9th, and if anyone was at the last WAR OF AGES show you KNOW its going to be huge! So we are selling tickets in advance online at indietickets.com for each show and also for BOTH shows! They will be 8 Dollars in advance and 10 Dollars day of, OR you can buy tickets for BOTH shows in advance for $15! Save $5 on both shows by getting tickets for both! There are completely different line up of bands, AND to make it better, the band will be playing two different sets both nights! So look at it like going to a 2-day festival, and getting to help out your local band and friends out with the release of their new album! Now this next show is not until September, but for anyone who is a fan of awesome pop punk bands, if you aren't excited, well, you must suck. We are extremely excited to be bringing Massacussetts Pop Punk band FOUR YEARS STRONG on Decaydance Records to Forward Hall on SEPTEMBER 22nd! Now, this is an offdate of the NEW FOUND GLORY tour, but they will be bringing with them CRIME IN STEREO on Bridge9 Records! THIS IS GOING TO BE AN INSANELY FUN SHOW! We invited a great band from Michigan that you all need to know about down to the show, that band is FIREWORKS. Look them up, get excited, they'll knock your socks off! Now, for local bands we have IN THE DAY opening the show, and making a special appearance is going to be THERES ALWAYS TOMORROW! This will be their ONLY show in Erie for the rest of the year so do NOT miss this! Look all of these bands up on myspace, GET PUMPED! Now, concerning shows at Forward Hall, they have unfortunately had to make the decision to make all future concerts no re-entry. The cops came out at the last show (June 11th) and were really cool but they told us that there were too many people outside, and there were several complaints from neighbors too. It sucks that it comes to this but they want to ensure their future as a venue and not irritate their neighbors or draw negative attention from the authorities. I know it gets hot in there and some of you may smoke (time to quit?) but if you really care about seeing / hearing the bands this is a small inconvenience. They are mostly concerned about provided a space to bring in local and national touring bands that otherwise would pass up Erie. So please do your best to respect the neighborhood and please pick up any trash if you see it laying around.
ALSO, this concerns advance tickets! There will only be advance tickets for shows noted on this site, NOT EVERY SHOW WILL BE SELLING TICKETS IN ADVANCE! NOT EVERY SHOW WILL BE SELLING TICKETS AT INK ASSASSINS! Please, only go to the locations noted on this site for buying tickets in advance! Tickets for HASTE THE DAY will be available at Ink Assassins after July 1st.
