It has been a long month, but we finally got everything in order for some new shows! Scroll down, shows have been announced through the beginning of April, at the very bottom being the latest show to be announced the EVERY TIME I DIE / FOUR YEAR STRONG tour! This tour will bring extreme amounts of fun, stage dives, sing alongs, and to top everything off, POLAR BEAR CLUB and TRAPPED UNDER ICE are apart of the entire tour! Tickets will be on sale later this week at indietickets.com, do not miss out on this show!
We will be adding new features to the website in the coming weeks, so please come back and check it out. We will have links at the top to pages with information about the new Skateshop, the Singing Bowl, our boys at Ink Assassins, and any new community businesses in the area! We are trying to branch out and help create awareness and web traffic to local businesses created and ran BY people from our community, so if you know of anything, please let us know!!
Another really great bit of news is that we've expanded the website to include a great new addition to our local community in the BROKEN TEETH ZINE. Click on the link above and download the first issue of the zine! You can also join their group on facebook HERE. So go download it, or pick it up at one of the upcoming shows and read what people from the community have to say and contribute! Its been quiet awhile since there was something like this in the Erie community, so take advantage of it, embrace it and help support it!
If you know of any ALL AGES shows in the Erie area that are NOT listed here either via text or flyer format, PLEASE send them to us at our myspace account (www.myspace.com/erieshows) and we'll get them added. Also, send us comments and suggestions on ways for us to make this site better!
We now have a Twitter account, and were going all out with it. To the left are links to the Myspace, Facebook and Twitter groups that you should bookmark, join or follow. Do everything you can to help spread the word about the upcoming shows, do everything you can to continue to build OUR community. If anyone wants, there is a discussion board that people deeply rooted in the Erie punk/hardcore community talk on, I suggest you join and become more than just a face in the crowd at shows.
We feel we have done a fairly good job updating the current show calender, but if you see a show not on the list PLEASE send us a message at our myspace with the flyer! We will add it up, as this is not just a webpage for our shows, but a webpage for the ENTIRE community to use! So please take note, I am willing to help out with promoting your show on our site!!!
